Having lived in many different countries throughout my life, I developed a passion for language from an early age. Following a career in social work, I decided to finally do something with my passion for language, and pursued a career in the publishing industry. After returning to university for a Master’s Degree in Editing and Publishing

After returning to university for a Master’s Degree in Editing and Publishing, I am now working in my dream role of freelance editor, still travelling the world at every opportunity.

When working with writers, I aim to strengthen their work while still honouring their style of writing. I remain in close contact with my clients, working alongside them to produce the best version of their work.
I provide a detailed editor’s report and style sheet, and am happy to respect existing style sheets, of which I will follow diligently.

My rates are set according to the Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd), where you can find a guide of hourly pay rates. However, my rates can vary depending on the project, which I am happy to discuss with you further.
